Connect a mailbox through its own consent screen. Arlo indexes it on your machine, keeps the index there, and from then on reads every message before you do. Here is what it does with them.

Newest-first is a rule, not a judgment. Arlo reads every thread and puts the third unanswered follow-up above the thank-you note — and says why, in one line, so you never take the order on trust.

Arlo has no tool that can send, reply, pay, accept or schedule. That is not a setting — the app ships without them, and a test fails the build if one ever appears. Every draft stops at the edge and waits for you.

Security

Most security pages list attestations. Ours leads with the one guarantee that is structural, says how it is enforced, and says plainly what we do not have yet.
Nothing sends.
The app has no tool that can send, reply, pay, accept or schedule. Not a setting — there is a test that fails the build if one ever appears.

It cannot phone home.
Arlo's window is not allowed to reach any external origin. Everything that leaves the machine goes through one path, and that path is short enough to read.

The mail index and your files never leave the machine. Where Arlo's own models are used, that text is sent for that request and nothing is trained on it.

Before you download.
What does it do while I am not looking?
Reads new mail, works out what needs you, pulls the tasks and promises out of threads, and prepares the brief. It drafts replies you have asked for. It does not send them, and it cannot.
Do my emails go to an AI company?
The index lives on your laptop. Run the model locally and nothing leaves at all. Use Arlo's models and the text being worked on goes to them for that request — same as any hosted model — and the index stays here either way.
Is the free tier a trial?
No. There is no card, no countdown and no expiry. Everything that runs on your own machine costs us nothing to give you, so it stays free.
What happens if I cancel?
You drop to the free tier. The index, the files and the drafts are on your machine, so they are still there. Nothing is held hostage.
Does it work offline?
The index, your files and a local model all work with no network. The parts that are ours do not.
Which Macs?
One universal build, so Apple silicon and Intel both. Windows is in progress — leave your address and we will write the day it is ready.
How long does setup take?
Connect a mailbox through its own consent screen, point Arlo at a folder, and open it the next morning. Two steps and a night's sleep.
